Description:
The successful candidate must be highly proficient in investigating
emerging, innovative technologies and the potential for current and
future application to the warfighter. The candidate must be comfortable
and have experience in interfacing with both commercial technologists
and high-level government officials. Successful candidate should possess
a thorough understanding of the current Army Space Vision and have the
ability to provide future vision and strategy for increasing the Space
and Missile Defense Battlelab?s Space Program presence within the
Department of Defense and other organizations within the intelligence
community. Candidate must possess the ability to author white papers to
further justify the investigation of new technologies and providing
proof of concept to move towards prototype and battlefield development.
The candidate should have a thorough understanding of the Combat
Development process.
Requirements:
Minimum twelve years experience with both government and civilian
technology. Strong writing skills. Experience presenting to high-level
government officials. Previous experience with building "proof of
concept" and/or prototypes. Bachelor's degree in technical discipline,
Master's degree preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret
clearance.
Preferred:
Previous military experience with emphasis on recent US Army or Joint support.
