We are currently seeking Reading Curriculum Coordinators (RCC) that, in
conjunction with a Vice-President of Educational Services (VPES), will
support student achievement by providing direct support to principals
and teachers of schools in their region. In this role, they will provide
pre-service and ongoing training to staff at both national conferences
and at school sites. They are in schools approximately 80% of the time
during the school calendar year. Reading Curriculum Coordinators work
closely with regional and central instructional support staffs and
assist in monitoring the implementation of core programs in classrooms.
They also develop materials and establish protocols that support their
work.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in
Reading/English Language Art or ten+ years experience teaching
reading/English Language Arts K-12 and be self-motivated and directed. A
minimum of two years experience as a Curriculum Coach (or similar
position) is required. Excellent research, written, and oral
communication skills are a must.
